i presume you're talking about the general topic of so called man made global warming.
it is impossible for many reasons but they will try anyway. 1, too many in Washington have interests in oil and coal and make money from those industries. they won't cut off their own bank account 2, in order to do that i estimate you'll have to eliminate about 1/2 the world population. even then i don't think global warming would be reversed 3, the rest of the world has NO absolutely NO intention of doing anything to reduce global warming in fact the developing countries are even more hungry of oil, coal and gas and they have much much larger populations and would actually increase the problem (IF its actually man made in the 1st place). 4, won't completely ban or eliminate it. the elites (congress) and some other "important" gov officials will get wavers to allow them to keep using fossil fuels.
I think in many ways, based on recent history, the hunger games book/movies is somewhat prophetic of the way we're heading. a group of elites living the highlife in washington and the rest of the country repressed to subsistence living while feeding the washington hog trof (hmmm. .... wait a minute....)
