I posted on the RedPower site, a link to this discussion. One guy responded with suggestion of getting a bushing from McMaster-Carr and get a new weld-on Cat II end to replace the worn ball end on front of hitch link of your 706. Install new ball end , insert bushing in ball and use old pin ( or new if worn. Should work if you can get a bushing of correct size.
Go to McMaster-Carr and enter bushings in search box, take a look at their items. Contact them for advice as to what you would need. Good luck!
