I run a 7' 2 stage, single auger snowblower on my MF 85. I have about 1000' of driveway, plus I do two other drives for. I do not have a cab, but I do have the hydraulic chute. My blower probably weighs around 700lbs ( it's not built extremely heavy ). How deep does the snow get? ( this should determine if you need 1 or 2 augers, & will make a difference on the weight ) Try to get the hydraulic chute ( it is just faster and much more convenient ) Since you do not have a cab ( like me ) ALWAYS WEAR A SNOWMOBILE HELMET! You do not want a stone or chunk of ice hitting you in the head ( plus it helps keep you warmer & dryer ). If you have to work on hills you will definitely need chains and possible front weights ( nothing worse than raising the front end on an icy hill! ). If your driveway is flat, you should not have any problems with snow blowing at you, because you can start at either end of your drive. Anyway, I think you'll really like this over using a blade, because if you have a lot of snow all year long, you may run out of room to pile it up.

The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
