I've enjoyed the replies so far. ;) Anyhow, if you want to _drive_ a _tractor_ on public roads, each state has it's own rules, but in general you need to be operating safely, have a slow moving sign (yellow/orange triangle) and if at night proper lighting. In the next 12 months the rules may get tougher on the proper lighting & flashing warning lights, etc. Flashers might be needed at the left & right ends of all equipment. As of now older equipment is grandfathered in & doesn't need updating with newer light packages in most states. 'Here' in Minnesota ALWAYS have the slow moving triangle on, drive in the daylight, and no one bothers you. Insurance or drives licence etc. are not required for 'implements of husbandry', altho if there is an accident the other driver can sue you, so insurance is your option! --->Paul
