OLIVER SUPER 55 DIESEL Injector pump

Blew #1 at the journal. Removed it shoved piston to top of cyl. put the oil pan back on, and using it!
Can I block H/P side of injector pump to #1 off to stop fuel from entering cyl. & pouring into oil ?
Is there a by-pass to tank from high pressure side of pump?
Anyone have piston & rod W/rings. Could use
Sleeve & crank (never miked it!) Suspect bad!
