Ok, I was just waiting for someone to bring up cats. THANK YOU.
A cat I recently adopted who'd been left behind in an empty apartment sleeps deeply and has vivid dreams, I'm sure. With his eyes twitching, and whiskers and mouth moving and occasionally a paw moving in his sleep--I'll watch for a little bit until he sits bolt upright, looks around, like--oh it was just a dream. Our pets can let us know just about anything that's on their mind--but they can't tell us what they dream.
For my dreams, they are triggered by current things going on, but sometimes mom appears. Been gone for over 30 years.
