Just got back from our local antique tractor club meeting and the matter of next years liability insurance came up. Seems we need insurance to pull in the local parades and to run our pull during the county fair. Currently we have a mill's worth of insurance for the 50(+/-) members and it's going up from $500 last year, $650 this year, to $1,000 next year. A couple of fellers feel it might get worse because we have a couple steamers and we all know what happened this year with that. My question is, what kind of rates do you guys get and how can one drive the cost down to where small clubs like ours don't have to charge $50/year dues? I am by no means insurance literate, but I can't help but think we can do better than what we've got now. Any help is surely appreciate.
