When I was a little guy I used to ride with my grandfather to the big city a couple times a week. There was a left turn off Rt 9 north of Warrensburg NY where you got onto Rt 28. MY grandfather would invariably turn on his left signal and make the turn which, if northbound as we were, wasn't even a 45 degree turn, it was a "Y" so to speak. I'll never forget those days, with the AM radio on WGY playing nothing but static and an occasional bit of Harry Downey or Paul Harveys broadcast coming in for 7 seconds. The good old days!
