I can say the same thing for the N Fords. Plowing small plots , disking em too. Small brush mower and finish mower. Post auger. Pretty handy seeing as I can buy tons on implements to go with em.
Only thing really wrong with them is the brakes. Once cleaned up and new seals in the axles to brakes even work OK not great but OK. Both of mine (both soon to be gone 860 Ford replacement is here) will spin around on one tire with the turning bakes applied. Just takes a little mechanical work.
Now against the AC? Have to either find AC implements or spend the money to convert to a 3 point. Sits a little high so working in the woods is harder. And that jumping out of gear thing. Heck they had problems with that clear up though the X00 series. Granted it was owner induced but folks abused other brands too and didn't have nearly as many problems. Kinda funny. Going to buy a 55 or newer IH and get told make sure the TA is good. 70 series case get told to check out the powershift and AC from the letter series clear up to the X00 series make sure it don't jump out of 2nd or 3rd. none of em were perfect.
