Wait till ya see a bear or a BIG kitty cat. I have seen two bears here in N/E Ohio and i have seen the tracks of a BIG KITTY about two hundred feet from my house here in town . Several years back many people around here saw a Cougar in broad dayllight , my one friend and customer had one come close to him one evening after Milking while he was back at the burn pile burning trash . He was telling me that it just came out of nowhere from the woods and sat down about fifty feet from him at the edge of the fire light and just sat there for fifteen to twenty min. watching . My friend told me he wqas sure he needed a change of shorts when it did get up and just walk off to the N/E . He took me back and showed me the paw prints in the mud and yep it was a BIG kitty. Bears i have seen were down south while i have been on service calls out in the fields . Closest was 150-175 yards away just before dark , that will give ya and uneasy feeling when the sun is going down and you still have about and hour to finish up and you are over a mile from another person.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Not a place one would associate with farms or farm machinery. I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
