I installed a driveworks tie rod end from advance auto it came apart while I was greasing it SHOCK... At least haft of those driveworks chassis parts I have installed have had some kind of issue...I had a old worn out Toyota truck I should have junked (it is junked now) I ordered a front end rebuild set off ebay for $79. All the ball joints, tire rod ends, idle arm, pitman arm haft of it would not fit just plain junk. I got it back together while pumping grease in an upper ball joint it came apart... It was 4WD and a beach to put ball joints in I said then and there I would never use that cheap junk chassis parts again...
My main parts supplier has always stood behind Moog even if I fudged it up...
The jury is still out on NAPA its a hit and miss deal... I don't have a issue with their top of the line chassis parts but its hard to deal with a hit and miss out fit... What rubs me wrong is they will change the rules to their liking... I have played with them for 46 years spent 1/2 of a million dollars with them are more no matter how well I played their game they found away to change the rules... It leaves a bad taste... I find it hard to push NAPA parts.... Its better now a new NAPA outfit BUT how long is it going to last.... Napa is starting to offer some good quality OEM parts at a good price I have had them fail to... In this day and time it seams to me luck of the draw...

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
