LeTournau in Toccoa had a large presence. I worked for Toccoa Falls, a christian college and high school. I worked on the Farm, dairy, hogs, beef. We had the use of the old LeTournau beef farm, around 600+ acres. It had a HUGE barn that was all metal. Drive in on top. We raised all of our young stock, Brown Swiss. We cut a lot of hay there too. Letournau also had a Dairy farm that produced milk that was given to the employees. The property has been backed up when they backed up the river that bordered the farm Now it is "lake front property" My dad and some of my relatives worked there until the union got greedy and they went back to the north. He, LeTournau built a huge conference center that GA Baptist owns today. There are buildings all over the campus of the school that he built/gave to the school. He was very generous. Achieving the Impossible with God is the name of a book that he wrote, a good read if you can find it. Thanks for posting. Dsmythe

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
