Ok. I have a jacket that was my great grandfathers. I have documentation that tells it was purchased in 1907. It is made from a Galloway steer. To look at it you would think it’s bear. My question is how should I care for it? It has been kept in a dry cleaning bag for the last 50 years, but I’m wondering if it should be treated with something to keep the hide soft.
