Hi Bill. I'm usually not looking at this page of the discussion forum. Most of my limited time is on the 9N,2N,8N section. I'll pass along how I take the loader off my 8N. (and I did just that this past Saturday) I have a tripod made of 4" poles about 10' long. This can straddle the tractor and loader above the lift point. I use a 1 ton chain falls to lift the loader. After I disconnect the front pump, the four bolts at the rear axle and the three bolts under the front axle, I can back out very easily. To be safe with the loader, I set it down on some wood blocks until I am ready to put it back on. I have driven this tractor and loader for 48 years and had it off and on many times. On a good day I could get it off of the tractor in about a half hour. I don't know what connections or mounting configuration that you have but whatever you do, be safe.
