Wheat, that sounds like sage advice.
MTC, had the exact same thing happen here last week. Had the charger on the truck overnight. Showed fully charged when I took it off. A minute later, the engine slowly turned over a couple times then click, click, click.
I'm thinking maybe the voltage dropped enough in the -30 temps that it allowed the acid to freeze and damage the battery.
$150 lighter in the wallet, but have a new battery now.
