I think a 317 would eat a L150's lunch. I have a 317 and my dad has a L150. I put the counter weight kit and 12-16.5 tires on my 317.
I do have some quibbles - the engine compartment side panels are a major PITA, the back door doesn't open far enough. getting in and out seems harder than other machines I've run. and the biggest quibble - the bucket doesn't roll forward (dump) as far as some other machines. Other than that, I've put 1600 hours on mine and I think it's just about as reliable as one can hope for in a skid steer. I like that the door goes up and you can get out even if you accidentally leave the arms up a couple inches. you can even operate the machine with the door up if you unplug the sensor that the door hits when it's up.
Dad's L150, on the other hand, has been toublesome for him. Spends a fair bit of time getting worked on. We don't work together, so I don't know the specifics on what goes bad. I only know it does because he comes and borrows my 317 when his isn't working.
