I have done this many times on much larger tractors. I always jack under the drawbar frame under the axle just a little to one side. I then block up to the axle and lower the axle onto the blocks. I then shift the jack a few inches over to the other side and repeat. This way my jack stays on the floor where it is safe from tipping, and I am jacking against heavy structural steel for maximum load bearing capability. No need to think about the front axle pivot. It doesn't enter the picture. And no white pine on top of your jack when you do need to take up space there. Use solid wood there only.
