For the past few months I have been trying to find a Long 2710 for our farm, but my search has as of now found nothing. I even reached out to Machinery Pete, and he had no sales records of a 2710, plenty of 2610's though. Part of the problem is that nobody seems to know how many were sold and if they were even sold at all. There is plenty of evidence that they are out there. Which includes a dealer brochure (see pictures), many online discussions that mention 2710's, and information on sites such as tractor data. Strange enough there are no pictures on google. I have called two former dealers and they had no knowledge of a 2710. All I know is that and 2710 is based in the UTB 703. For those who don't know, most LONG tractors were imported from Romania and just re branded Universal/UTB tractors. I would really like to find one for the 2019 planting season, so I got a little time. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
