I have an Inogen- often seen on TV. Has 110 volt and 12 volt setup. It charges an empty battery and provides oxygen at the same time when plugged into either power source.
VA did not provide mine- I bought it on my own. They are spendy, $3000 with two batteries. However, I figured that used might be available, since older people have them. Then they die. I advertised in a Senior"s magazine, got 3 replies...one for $1500. one at 1000, one at 600.
Originally, VA provided me with tanks for use in the house, and small tanks for use in the truck, tractor, and skidloader. They also provide a concentrator for night time use, hooked to the CPAP machine.
