I converted my Allis-Chalmers WD to 12 volts Negative ground and I used a solenoid from an early seventies Ford car. The only reason I can see that you may have a problem, is if you are continuing to use Positive ground with the 12 volt conversion; and even then, I think it could be made to work; well, maybe not.There are 2 "small" terminals on these Ford solenoids; one is connected to the starter switch and activates the solenoid. The second small terminal is connected to the coil and provides 12 volts to the coil while starting by bypassing the resistor. Pretty straight forward stuff. From everything I read on the tractor sites, using GM parts is the way to go. However, I have a load of Ford parts so I used what I had. I don't know a lot about Ford Jubilee tractors, but didn't they have a mechanical starter switch rather than a solenoid? I know the "N-series" did.
