I use one almost daily. As Steve said, checking fence is one common use. I have a large "tote" strapped to the rear rack on mine, and can lug a fair-sized pile of tools. I also have a little trailer I built sized to follow in the wheel tracks of the wheeler that will carry a lot more stuff. When I'm building something or doing some other tool-intensive task away from the house, I load everything I think I need up, and away I go. And when I discover the one tool I inevitably forgot, it's a quick trip back to the house to get it. If it's a large project (like the barn I just spent 8 weeks building) I can leave all the stuff on the wheeler and in the trailer and park the whole shootin' match in the garage to keep things safe and out of the weather at the end of each day, and start the next morning without having to load up again.

I also use it for checking on/travelling in my woodlot. Minimal impact with maximum convenience.

In something over two years of having owned it, I've taken it out for recreational purposes exactly 3 times.
