When you say moving fallen trees, I hope you mean hauling firewood with a trailer. If you are not careful trying to skid a log or tree with a small utility tractor, you could flip the thing over on yourself. If you do this,(and I'm not saying that you should; I would recommend against it) don't even think about hooking up to the top arm. There is basically nothing wrong with an 8N that is in good shape, but it is 1930's technology. They don't have roll over bar, which should be a consideration for a novice tractor operator. With a loader, you will probably find it difficult to steer without power steering. I have a Ford 650, which is basically one step up from an 8N and have no complaints whatsoever. It has about 10 to 12 more horsepower than an 8N. I would not even consider putting a loader on it without a power steering kit. It is difficult enough to steer with manual steering as it is. (I guess we have all been spoiled by power steering and automatic transmissions in cars)

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
