An Allis Chalmers 'B' with a 60' Woods belly mower. The little B's are nimble and light with enough power to run the mower fine. If you use turf tires it won't create tire tracks in you lawn. I'm building just such a setup with a 1938 non-electric version. The hand crank will be for nostalgia but I would suggest you get one with electric start and a battery if you plan on doing a lot of regular mowing with it. The B's steer well and with a belly mower, should get in and out of the tight spots. They trailer easily too because they don't weigh too much. The wide front will give you stability. Besides, they're orange and everyone will sit up and take notice that you're NOT driving one of those sheet metal lawn mowers that try to look like a tractor. Good luck.
