I NEED SOME HELP WITH A 1959 JD 440 TRACTOR WITH A 2 CYL. GM DETROIT. I JUST HAD THE RIGHT SIDE FINAL DRIVE REBUILT. WHEN I REASSEMBLED THE DRIVE, THERE WAS NO POWER TO THE RIGHT TRACK. THE DRIVE PINION AND FIBRE DISCS WERE TURNING BUT THE FRICTION PLATE WAS SLIPPING. I DISASSEMBLED THE DRIVE AGAIN AND ADJUSTED THE CLUTCHES ALL THE WAY AND REASSEMBLED. THIS HELPED A LITTLE BIT BUT THE SAME THING OCCURED. IS THERE A TOOL THAT CAN BE USED TO GAUGE THE THICKNESS OF THE FIBRE DISCS OR THE THICKNESS OF THE CLUTCH SO THE FINAL DRIVE DOESN'T NEED TO BE TAKEN ON OR OFF SO MANY TIMES? ANY HELP WOULD SURE BE APPRECIATED.
