Ive read your posting several times and believe you are asking about the transmission. I LOVE that trans. I used to do fine yard grading and pulled an eight foot box blade. You'll find that the forward and reverse gears are pretty much the same speed. Most of my grading I did in 3rd or 4th gear with the corresponding speeds in reverse. This works almost like a shuttle shift with a loader on it.
I think you'll also find that the tractor hardly knows what 'quit' means … mine tends to spin out before it chokes out on a hard pull.
