I used to have a Farmall H with a paulson loader, narrow front, no power steering, and no live hydraulics, just like Paul is speaking of. They will get the job done, although you are constantly fighting the steering and the narrow front. Nowadays, I have a later model tractor with a nice quick tach loader and all the goodies. Personally, the only reason I would ever purchase a rig without power steering would be purely for financial reasons (couldn't afford anything better). Mt 2 cents worth.
