The 10si is a good alternator, made in a time where there wasn't a need for a lot of electrical demand. A perfect alternator for a simple tractor. Keep in mind the amperage rating is measured at peak rpm or around 8000 or more RPM. A typical alternator pulley ratio is 2:1 so if the engine is turning 4000 rpm, the alternator would turn 8000 rpm, tractor engines are going to turn fast enough to produce peak ratings. A 10si alternator is only going to produce around 20-25 amps around idle speed, a larger 12si is around double that, modern alternators even more.
Modern alternators (, CS144 CS130,cs130d, ) have more output, not only peak but at lower rpm, double or triple what a 10si can produce. Even a old 12si would be a big improvement. I don't know the size of your winch, but a typical recovery winch can easily draw over 200 amps when pulling a heavy load.
