I bought a IH 1086 brand new in 1979. That was the worse riding tractor I every tried to farm with. Then add in the cab and shifter issues it was not nice. My wife told me after the first spring that she was not doing anymore field work in it as it as it beat her to death. Sold it with only 120 hours on it and bought a JD 4440 with 250 hours on it. I still own the JD 4440.
