Back in the 60,s my family built our golf course with our old Jd A and a roll over scraper. We dug ponds and ditches tees and greens over the years. The neighbors tried pulling that scraper with their 901 or 960 ford. On the disk or drags it would leave that old A behind. Hook it up to that scraper and it couldn,t climb up on a green or pull the clay out of the ditches or pond. If someone was stuck don,t bother just get the JD. In 1970 I bought my first G with an 800 hitch and 3-14 plow. It would make his ford and his big tractor a 4000 diesel look so bad when plowing he went out and bought a new 2030 with 3-16 plow. Then we could stay together plowing without me passing him every 3 rounds. Hooked that G on the scraper and had to rebuild the bottom blade soon after as it looked like a half moon in about two hours.
