farmall smta diesel

hi, i have been offered a 53 or 54 super mta diesel with wide front. needs restored, it has been siting for about 8 or 9 years in my neighbors shed he said it run like new when he shut it off. i was woundering if it would be worth the $900 he wants for it? i have been thinking about purchasing it and putting one of those new koyker loaders on it. how do those loaders perform on an older tractor? do they have there own remote valves or use the tractors? i would like3 any info i could get onthis tractor. also is it worth 900 bucks? tires look like new, needs seat fuel tank battery box and thats about it except for the faded paint. thanks again for the help.
