: : : : : I fell in love with those JD two cylinders, but know little about them. What models are they, and what could I expect to pay for a decent one as a hobby, I have no farm land. : : : : Why don't you get a real tractor, JD's are junk : : : And what, Bubba, would you recommend as a real tractor? : : You can do it all with a Farmall : Actually, Farmalls are on my list, too. I saw a restored B with a wide rear axle at a show. No electrics, crank start, row cropper. Started right up. Guy wanted $2000 for it. Fair price? Sounds a liitle on the high side for a B.That would be high in my area even if it is restored and has new rubber. Look around in your area and compare prices.
