John, remember that those replies that are passing along advice on money (and some of us have done that for a lot of your posts), don't take it personally as criticism. All they are doing is telling you to watch out how much money you sink into this project. You mention college. Well if your family is well off and everything is going to paid for you along the way (and maybe after graduation), the whole thing is going to be easy. But if that isn't the case, it doesn't hurt to have a bit of money in the bank. Do a Google search and see how much personal debt there is in North America and how many families are on the brink of being flat broke. I just hope that after all the dust settles that you don't say to yourself that there's a lot of money sitting there that you could have put to better use. Now that you have tractor though, the one fellow who advised you to be careful and to do your fix up with caution and not worry about having a show tractor.
