My front left hub broke off my tractor the tractor the other week. Just got it back from the welder (had it heat welded since it's case hardened steel) and put it back together. I lifted the whole front end off the ground and spun the wheels by hand to see what happened. The hub I just replaced will not turn when the 4wd is engaged. When I listen to it when it's turning I can hear a faint rubbing noise like gears or splines barley touching each other. Has anyone else had to reinstall their front hub and can you possibly give me some advice?
