Agree... for those of us in Texas, there is a huge population that can NOT speak english. And in most counties, hispanics are the majority. Just the way it is. Know body knows why or cares. As to the border patrol, yes they are all over, and will ask you if your are a US citizen. It is their job. I simply say "Yes, I am" and they usually reply... "Have a good day." Do they profile a bit. Yes they do. We have tons of Mexican tourist over here, with mexican license plates who have visa's to come into the DEEP united states past the exclusion zone,,, who shop and vacation. They also will get checked periodically for expired visa's. We have litterly many thousands over here with work permits. They can get checked several times a year at their place of employment.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
