Well, my opinion, do not try to shift on the move. GeaRS are not synchronized, NOT SYNCHRONIZED, and we see many transmission rebuilds with busted and worn gears, trying to shift. Now it CAN be done, if you are very experienced, and can exactly match engine speed to transmission speed, on the go, on the move, and know how to double-clutch. Easy answer, tho, is to start off in the gear you want, and call it good.
