As a start, would suggest you see what condition and level the the oil and anti-freeze look like. Also the gear oil.
Not sure where you are at, or where the tractor came from, but if it is going to get below freezing where you are at, check the anti-freeze ASAP. There are anti-freeze testers available for around $10. Check youtube. Easy to do. All this kind of depends on where the tractor came from and if it was stored where the tractor could freeze (in which case you are probably ok).
