A 2520 used a 219 and if the injection pump is tuned some it will run right beside or even out perform a factory 3020. The downfall of the 3020 was the balencer system. It took to much power and made the engine a little slow in throttle response. If I were doing it I would use a 239 or a 276. A friend has a late 3020 with a 239 turbo engine and it runs over 100hp on a dyno.I have three 3020 diesels(factory 270 engines) and a 2510 and a 2520 that both have the 219 engines. In field work there is very little difference other than the 2510-2520's are geared slower. Tom
