We had a 560 gas for ten years, loved that tractor, and I could run that smooth six cylinder all day without being beat up. The TA, torque amplifier was really slick for getting thru tough spots, and that quick-tach hitch system, was really slick to hook up equipment fast. Ran a neighbors 720Diesel quite a few hours, but usually felt pretty fatiqued after plowing about six hours from the beat of that big two cylinder, the three point was good but felt I could hitch up faster with the IH quick-tach. They had to be pretty close in power, thinking about it JD has more weight closer to the back while IH big six cylinder was mostly over the front axle, so we got a real toss up here. Today I'd take either one to have around the place. John in Nebr.
