If you look through Youtube there are a lot of them posted from the Ukraine. And they all use basically the same parts. It makes me think that they're not as much "home made" as they are just repurposed parts from other balers. The type of baler is basically the type you could buy here back in the 70s. Gehl made the drum roller style before going to belts. There were others too, but I can't remember the names. There's no pressure so the bale isn't real tight on the inside. It's similar to a fixed chamber/soft core type of bale, but obviously those aren't big enough to get the packed outer shell.
