a lot of government places in Missouri are giving a lot of the old information to these places. takes up to much time for them when some ones goes in there to find some information when doing research. I think that's a great deal for people who are hunting facts of there ancestors. my dad and his brothers and sisters all started school in a one room school house. I was able to find some of there school report cards from back in the 30s. real neat. Missouri is one state that you can find a lot of information. some states like Colorado are terrible. the one I belong to do a lot of grave yard stone repairing. the rent a building and operate off of donations. I have traced my first ancestor to the us in 1737. He is know as a pioneer in north Carolina as stated by the stone placed there by the state of north Carolina. very interesting subject to some but not all people.
