Hello i do try to avoid off topic items but there are so many here with some tech knowledge its a good place to ask
daughter and future SIL are looking at Ford Escapes in the 2015-17 model year range. Many are turbo-charged. Generally in theory I think turbos are a good thing, add lots of power without much if any hit to fuel mileage. HOWEVER, i don't like them because of the added complexity and more things to go wrong and the high cost to fix.
ANyone here have a 2013-2018 Ford Escape with turbo that they've got some mileage and history on to give some thoughts and feedback on reliability?
I know these things are WAY more complicated than a turbo you might find on a Oliver 1850 with a Perkins diesel (at least a little tractor content)
