JERRY, I HAVE A JDMT. GOOD TRACTOR FOR TILLING, MOWING FIELDS, ETC. MINE IS THE MT TRYCICLE AND IT IS NOT RECCOMMENDED THAT A LOADER BE USED ON IT. YOU DON'T MENTION WHETHER OR NOT THE TRACTOR HAS THE SPREAD FRONT END. EVEN IF IT DOES THE TRACTOR MAY NOT HAVE THE POWER FOR ANY HEAVY WORK. ITS BASICLY THE SAME TRACTOR AS THE JD40. BOTH ARE TWO CYLINDER.THE JD40 IS ABOUT 24 HP. THE JDMT IS ABOUT 18 HP. PROBABLY BUILT AROUND 1951 OR 1952. PARTS AND MANUALS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FROM JOHN DEERE THROUGH YOUR LOCAL DEALER. IF NOT THERE ARE MANY WEB SITES WHERE YOU CAN ORDER THEM FROM. HOPE THIS HELPS. GOOD LUCK.
