I have used an MT on my place two years now. Plow, bush hog, finish mow, post hole digging, pull hay, rake, and pull some of my church congragation at parades. I'll keep the MT, although I will get a larger tractor in the future. Back to your question, The MT was a varient of the M to offer a row crop version of the M utility. The T means tricycle front although in Deere fashion, all varieties fronts were available. The MT was built at the Dubuque plant 1949 to 1952 with over 30,000 produced. They run good, are sturdy and adaptable to a great many tasks. Deere did make a front loader for the M/MT tractors, which now I can't remember the model, but they are rare and hard to find.
