I bought a John Deere 4440 with no weights on the front or back. It primarily will pull a six row no-till planter and a eleven row 15" bean planter. The eleven row bean planter actually has a significant negative tongue weight when raised. Mostly no-till but once in awhile on a rare occasion it might hook on to a 20 foot disk, 24 foot field cultivator, or a 12 foot chisel plow. How many weights up front are typical for this kind of work? How many weights should be on the rear wheels? How much do the front suitcase weight brackets sell for? What do the suitcase weights typically sell for? How much are the rear weights worth? Lastly are there typical part numbers for the suitcase and rear wheel weights I should be looking for?
