Good looking tractors. the D-4 cat hood does not slope and taper like that one. It was a straight hood from front to back. At least ours is. It looks the same as any of the others around here all straight. Ours is probably one of the first D-4's being a 4G8 built in about 36 or 37. The R Models were before the D models. RD's were some of the first diesels for Cat.
