Ignorance is one thing. Stupidity is another. And I think we have a whole lot of both out there. There is a remedy for ignorance but stupid makes you want to hit your head against the wall (or maybe their head). It would be interesting to know the percentage of Americans who have never grown so much as a row of green beans or carrots or lettuce. I think we would be amazed. Shoot, a significant number don't even have a lawn to mow anymore, let alone a garden. There is not even a baseline to start to educate them. And there is no incentive for them to learn. They just go to the store and fill their cart with cheap groceries.
