I agree with John on the John Deere. My 4300 HST is a great tractor with any attachment I have. Loader, 72 inch mid mower, and backhoe, all John Deere attachments. Although I agree Deere tractors are a lot higher in cost than other brands, I guess it's that you know what you're buying. That's my reason too. They are the oldest farm equipment company which hasn't been sold, bought up, or bankrupt. The 4300 or 790 may be a little too big, but the price of the 790 compared to the others makes it's a good deal. The 4100 is about the size you are looking for. My neighbor has had one with HST for a few years and hasn't had any problems with it yet. Sorry, but I'm the kind of guy who when riding in the car yells to someone on a Kubota "you should have bought a John Deere!"
