Two important facts I did not see mentioned in this discussion. 1 Propane engines are generally derated by 10% on H.P. Nat. gas is derated by 20%. 2. The motor fuel tax hassle, down here in Ga. they caught a guy running it on the road in a pickup that he filled at home from his home tank, where he filled his 856 IH, and was paying no road tax, they went back and charged tax for every mile on the truck since he converted it.Pretty sure some one turned him in(1970's gas crisis time). I ran dual fuel vehicles for several years, really liked propane, but finally got tired of the tax records hassle. Gene Davis
