it all depends on what the tractor is used for.if you are going to show it,sure,clearcoat over the aluminum paint.i used aluminum paint on my tractors rims because it is rust resistant and easy to touch up when scratched & you can't really tell where scratches were when touched up.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
