If you wanted to be cost effective and also go the simplest way, a two stage hand, operated "porta-power"- type jacking unit with a resevoir like on some hydrualic presses will achieve the same result,for a lesser cost and give you the possibility of a smaller lighter unit. The 1st stage will get you moving quickly with light loads and the second stage will handle the heavier lifting, and it is a known fact that an engine sitting idle is sometimes subject to not cranking, plus gasoline or even battery powered units will require hookups, large drains on battery etc. Gene Davis
